The 32nd Annual MEMS: Marketing, Enrollment Management, and Student Success conference is coming to Portland, Oregon this November 29-December 1 – join us at the Hilton Portland Downtown and get excited for the food trucks, coffee, and creative culture that Portland has to offer! Portland is a vibrant city known for many things, most notably an abundance of green landscapes, bridges, and breathtaking mountain views. Affectionately referred to as the City of Roses, Portland has a colorful history in which quirkiness is embraced and showcased throughout the city. We look forward to welcoming familiar faces and making meaningful connections with new colleagues in this eclectic locale in the Pacific Northwest!

The 2023 MEMS Planning Committee is already hard at work developing an engaging program, creative networking opportunities, and building on the successes and lessons learned from our previous events. MEMS brings together professionals focused on marketing, recruitment, and student success within the higher education arena, particularly focused on adult, professional, continuing, and online education.

This year we plan to bring you an amazing lineup of speakers and sessions, filled with data-driven strategies and proven tactics to meet today's challenges to help you grow your enrollments and support your students’ success.

What is the conference about?
The annual UPCEA MEMS conference is the premier event for leaders and practitioners responsible for professional, continuing, and online education marketing and enrollment management at colleges and universities around the world. For over 30 years, the UPCEA conference has drawn professionals from institutions of all sizes to showcase thought leadership in our field and to explore trends in adult student recruitment and retention. Designed for both senior leaders and practitioners, the conference offers high level, strategically-focused presentations as well as sessions which spotlight the tactical components of marketing and enrollment management in today’s higher education landscape.

Cutting edge content in marketing and enrollment services, and incredible general sessions are once again on the agenda for this year's conference.
