Dear UPCEA New England Region Friends and Colleagues:
Welcome to Regions Week 2021! This year’s conference is focused on continuously meeting the needs of our learners, while also implementing strategies to future-proof our institutions. I encourage you to make the most of all of the conference’s sessions and networking (with colleagues from New England, as well as the other regions).
This past year in higher education, in spite of its challenges, has opened up new pathways for strategy, innovation, and leadership for institutions. Many of our institutions made high-stakes decisions in moving courses fully online, tackling student support, and delivering high-quality and innovative courses. Some have doubled down on new investments, partnerships, and other opportunities. In this volatile environment where we are facing tomorrow’s challenges today, we look to connect with our regional colleagues and networks to continue learning through our vital communities.
Time is of the essence and our institutions must be innovative, agile, responsive, and proactive - a task only accomplished through collaborating and learning together. I look forward to connecting with you this week, as we look to serve learners and our institutions now and in the long term.
Regards,
Matt DiPirro
