Online Leadership Roundtable Convening

This year’s Roundtable will be an ‘action’ session for Chief Online Learning Officers and/or Institutional Representatives and their teams. These teams will take the topics discussed throughout the Summit and specifically the ‘Programs at Scale Track’ and challenge the team to create an action plan for their return to campus. This action plan might focus on:

  • The intended program (the ‘what’ – picking one allows the university to walk before running)

  • The intended market (‘who’ is the student)

  • The value proposition (‘why’ should they come?)

  • The program design and the challenge of that design (‘how’ is being offered?)

  • Along with the infrastructure needs such as the pieces that could be missing from the university team (are the faculty ‘on board’, do they have learning design, what parts of the university need to be working together, do they have such a team based culture/atmosphere, etc) and the financial considerations for sustainability.

During the action plan focused session, attendees will have an opportunity to ask the presenters featured in the Programs at Scale Track any questions that went unasked in previous sessions as well as ask specific questions that may only be relevant to their institution.

Roundtable Convening Registration

While the Online Leadership Roundtable Convening has been open to only Chief Online Learning Officers (COLOs) and Institutional Representatives (IRs) in the past, this year’s Convening is open to all COLOs and/or IRs as well their team members in attendance at the Summit. Due to space considerations and expected demand, the Roundtable Convening is limited to 200 attendees in total and no more than five (5) attendees from any UPCEA member institution. Registration requests will be confirmed on a first come, first reserved basis (provided all team members are registered for the Summit).

IRs and COLOs can expect to receive a separate email soliciting the names of the team members that will be joining them at the Roundtable Convening this year. That email was sent in Late April.
All Summit registrations and Roundtable Convening registration requests must be made before June 1, 2018.

For all requests and questions, please email Jacqueline Romero at jromero@upcea.edu.
