SOLA+R (Summit for Online Leadership and Administration + Roundtable) is the leading event focused on the online enterprise – from both strategic and operational perspectives.
Online learning is integral to the financial stability as well as access mission of today’s institutions, and SOLA+R 2018 blends the best practices, thought leadership, and strategy that online leaders need.
SOLA+R attendees will focus on groundbreaking models of successful leadership development, enabling professionals to foster a culture of innovation, creativity, and curiosity throughout their organizations.
This year, we are featuring six engaging tracks, each focusing on a piece of the broader picture of online education. Join us in the Programs at Scale track for a look into how Georgia Tech, Arizona State University, University of Washington, and Western Governors University have focused resources on the design and scalable delivery of digital teaching and learning models to increase student success and reduce barriers to higher education. Our Policy track – presented in partnership with CAEL, OLC, and WCET – focuses on federal and state policies and how universities interact with the role that regulatory and legislative actions take within higher education. In the Building the Enterprise track, participants will learn what other units are doing to incubate new initiatives that provide postsecondary access to today’s learners. The Non-Credit/Alternative Credentials track focuses on non-credit online programming and the delivery of non-degree credentials. The eDesign track, programmed by the eDesign Collaborative, takes a deep dive on research – specifically research focused on eDesigner competencies and the evaluation of learning tools, brings instructional designers and media teams together to talk about partnering with faculty, and highlights innovative practices during the eDC ThinkTank sessions. Connect with organizations and individuals in the Spotlight track who are leading innovation in these hand-selected sessions. This year’s Roundtable, which immediately follows the Summit, builds on the Programs at Scale track and is an opportunity for senior leaders and their teams to create an actionable plan for scaling their institution’s online programs.
Join key campus leaders – vice presidents, deans, and other senior staff – responsible for the design, delivery, and strategic direction of the online learning enterprise at the top-ranked universities in the country, June 18-20 in Washington.
