What members of the 2011 cohort had to say of their experiences:

What an amazing investment in us and the UPCEA this program was! Thank you for the opportunity to meet other terrific people and for the precious gift of reflection.
--Shawn Tuttle, Harvard Graduate School of Education

The New and Aspiring Leaders professional development program was a wonderful introduction to UPCEA and a valuable opportunity to learn more about the science of leadership from actual experts in the field. The networking was particularly well organized and produced new contacts (and more importantly friends) in our emerging field.
--Adam Fein, University of Illinois

This program was wonderful for many reasons. My favorite part of the day was listening to the panel. But as a take away, I will go back to work on Monday feeling more empowered and with more confidence as a leader. I would absolutely recommend this to others. Thank you so much! See you next year.
--Carol Fleming, James Madison

I believe the New and Aspiring Leaders program to be of great professional value to me in that I was truly able to re-evaluate myself and the leadership attributes I bring to my team.
--Laura A. Crittenden, Mississippi State University
