UPCEA 2018 Marketing and Enrollment Management Seminar is being held in Long Beach, CA. When not taking in the day's sessions and activities, take some time to enjoy the local area!

  • The Queen Mary - From her maiden transatlantic voyage in 1936 to her eventual final docking in Long Beach in 1967, The Queen Mary has captured the hearts of millions around the world. Today The Queen Mary operates as a hotel and visitors can enjoy tours and exhibits, dine in multiple restaurants, or choose to stay on board as a hotel guest. Can you brave a hair-raising haunted nighttime tour of the ship’s many intricate rooms and hallways? There’s only one way to find out!

  • Aquarium of the Pacific - Kids and families alike will love a visit to the Aquarium of the Pacific and its many interactive exhibits, but this world-class aquarium is a perfect fit for visitors of all ages. The aquarium’s indoor and outdoor spaces celebrate the vast beauty of the Pacific Ocean, featuring more than 11,000 animals and 500 species. Don’t miss the Shark Lagoon, home to more than 150 sharks. The June Keyes Penguin Habitat is also a must-see, where you can watch twenty Magellanic Penguins playing in and out of the water.
