A few important details:
Registration: Presenters are reminded to register for the conference before May 24, 2017. Click here to register today!
Travel: Reservations at the conference hotel, the Hilton San Diego Bayfront, may be made directly with the hotel by calling 1-800-HILTONS (445-8667) and mentioning the group code, "UPCEA", or clicking here. UPCEA's special conference rate ($269 per night for both single and double occupancy) is guaranteed through May 17, 2017. Click here to learn more.
Speaker Agreement Form: Please take a moment to complete a Speaker Agreement Form, which confirms your intent to present the accepted session and share presentation slides/materials, and verifies presenter media needs. Click here to fill out the form. Please submit your form no later than Friday, May 12, 2017.
Presentation Reminders:
Slides: If you plan to utilize slides, please use the UPCEA template (see attached). Slides will be uploaded to your session room laptop and the conference mobile app.
Note: if you will not utilize slides, please email Julie Uranis at juranis@upcea.edu and we’ll instead have a welcome slide in the room noting presenter/moderator names and session title.
Additional information and logistics will be provided after you have completed the Speaker Agreement Form.
Speaker Check-in: Please check-in at the UPCEA Registration Desk which located in the Sapphire North West Foyer on the Fourth Floor of the Hilton San Diego Bayfront. There you’ll receive your speaker badges, printed event program, and other pertinent information for your session.
Handouts: Speakers are welcome to bring printed copies or handouts as desired. For planning purposes, concurrent sessions may have up to 60 attendees present. Please note that UPCEA does not reimburse for printed copies. We are happy to post these to the mobile app if you provide them to us in advance, as well as to CORe after the conference.
Guidebook App: Be sure to download the event app, once available, to connect with attendees and exhibitors, to have the most up to date schedule and alerts, to give feedback about sessions you attend, and to view presentation materials. Please keep an eye out for more information on the mobile app as we get closer to the conference.
Social Media: Speakers and Moderators are invited to share news of their upcoming presentations on Twitter or to connect with Summit attendees on-site via the event app with the event hashtag, #UPCEASOL, or to tag @UPCEA in their posts.
