Professional, continuing, and online education (PCO) deans are often looked to for anticipating and preparing for issues that will have immediate, short- and long-term impacts on the direction of their organizations. Some issues are manageable (e.g., budgets), while others are simply unavoidable (e.g., accreditation). A pane of PCO leaders has been asked to identify and discuss the top challenges they anticipate for their organization and the field of PCO in the next 3 years. They will also share what they believe are the necessary changes a PCO unit must take on to stay relevant in a new era of lifelong learning.
