Proposals for the 2021 UPCEA Annual Conference may select one of the following formats:
Pre-Recorded Concurrent Sessions with Live Presenter-Hosted Q&A
Pre-recorded sessions are 30 minutes, akin to standard conference presentations, but truncated to maximize the virtual experience, paired with a dedicated discussion time for attendee-presenter engagement.
Live, 2-Way or “Flipped” Sessions
Live sessions are one-hour sessions which feature well-developed ideas with broad appeal and tangible take-aways, often showcasing more than one institution and commonly using a “flipped” modality, in which pre-reading is highly encouraged and time together is spent in robust discussion rather than disseminating information.
Poster Sessions
Poster sessions showcase research and/or programs in an asynchronous format, combining text and graphics on a hosted platform to allow viewers an opportunity to study and re-study information quickly and efficiently, as well as offer an opportunity to follow up with the presenter(s) offline.
