UPCEA Association Awards Nominations

UPCEA takes great pride in honoring exemplary colleagues, students, programs, and research. The Association recognizes institutional excellence, individual achievement, and contributions to the field of professional, continuing, and online education through its awards program.

To align with myriad changes across the higher education landscape, the 2021 awards are different than in prior years. In light of the challenges UPCEA members are facing, we have simplified this year’s awards program to recognize a narrower set of categories which represent areas of broadest engagement and particularly acute activity in this unprecedented time.

The request for proposals has now closed. Thank you to those who submitted!

The Association Awards Program includes recognition of both individual and institutional achievement across the UPCEA membership. Awards are given for the following:

  • Julius M. Nolte Award for Extraordinary Leadership
  • Walton S. Bittner Service Citation for Outstanding Service in UPCEA
  • Adelle F. Robertson Emerging Professional Continuing Educator Award
  • UPCEA Leadership in Diversity and Inclusive Excellence Award - New for 2020!
  • UPCEA Excellence in Teaching Award
  • UPCEA Outstanding Professional, Continuing, and/or Online Education Student Awards: Credit and Noncredit
