Mid-Atlantic Region | Looking Back to Move Forward. Using Innovation as our PCO Superpower

Regional Salons are half-day, virtual, curated opportunities for UPCEA members to engage in accessible, no-cost professional development and networking, offering a balance of formal presentations and facilitated, two-way, informal conversation. These lively gatherings are designed for members by members, around a theme or topic of critical importance, and tap subject matter experts in and outside of UPCEA, as well as spotlight the important work of our members. Regional Salons provide members a chance to grow their professional networks, to showcase their accomplishments, and to solve unique and shared challenges with peers. Please note, Regional Salons are unrecorded.

Fee: Free for UPCEA Members; $50 for non-Members

Registration closes on September 27, 2023.  No registrations will be accepted after September 27, 2023.

    How we are exploring additional revenue sources, including expanding types of alternative credentials, working with non-traditional populations (including prison education) and revenue sources (e.g. WIOA, VA funding).

    How departments optimize content delivery and leverage technology by pooling resources and sharing best practices. Are you viewed as a partner or a competitor? Strategies to build relationships. Identifying and addressing conflicts that may arise during inter-departmental collaboration. Sharing relevant data and insights across departments to drive informed decision-making. Leveraging diverse perspectives to drive innovation.


  • Portfolio Management — Diverse Units
    How we manage portfolios of programs to help make it through down periods for some programs, and to balance multiple missions for programming (including outreach, service, and supporting academic initiatives) with a revenue generation mission.
