Faculty Partnerships

Partnering with Faculty in the Design Process: Three Approaches to Faculty Partnership at Georgetown University
Join Georgetown University's Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship (CNDLS) to learn more about our three-pronged innovative approach to faculty partnership in online course and program design and development. Executive Director Eddie Maloney and Director of Learning Design and Research Yianna Vovides will share three successful approaches to meeting faculty where they are, including individualized support, a cohort-based Design Studio, and a mixed/hybrid approach.

Why Georgetown: Georgetown CNDLS department is a unique teaching and learning center in that it embraces a model that partners active research and scholarship with course design and technology. Additionally, they have created their own Master of Arts in Learning and Design.
