The Mid-Atlantic Planning Committee welcomes proposals that provide examples of programs, initiatives, and strategies that were employed during the pandemic and have demonstrated perseverance and determination. This year’s return to an in-person conference is an example of how strong we are and our ability to come back from tough times. It is the hallmark of what PCOE units are and demonstrates how we always strive for excellence in higher education.
Show and tell us about your resilience and novel approaches!
Proposal examples may include successful endeavors, as well as lessons learned. The committee is interested in multiple perspectives, including one’s self, one’s unit, and the broader PCOE field. Consider submitting proposals that address current challenges in higher education, new approaches that were developed in response to the pandemic, diversity/inclusion/equity in education, remote education and remote work settings, challenges related to telecommuting policies, academic technologies, alternative credentials, marketing concepts, student success programs and leadership strategies…be creative!
Proposal submissions should align with one of the UPCEA Networks:
Session formats of 60 minutes include individual presentations, multi-institution panels, interactive workshops, roundtable discussions, and presentations with an external service provider.
Proposal Submission Deadline
Deadline for submissions is June 17, 2022.
