Anne Heinz

Anne Heinz is Dean of Continuing Education and Associate Vice Chancellor for Summer Session, Outreach and Engagement at the University of Colorado at Boulder. In partnership with the campus, various communities and diverse student populations, these programs extend the resources of the university and provide a wide range of activities, credit and noncredit courses. Anne obtained her bachelor’s degree in journalism from Southern Illinois University and her master’s and doctoral degrees in continuing higher education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.


Sue Maes

Dean, Global Campus
Kansas State University



Sue Maes serves as dean of the Kansas State University Global Campus and co-director of the Institute for Academic Alliances.  She is known for her expertise in building new academic programs, fostering institutional collaboration and project management.  Examples of these collaborations are the Great Plains Interactive Distance Education Alliance and University Engineering Alliance.

Maes has served as the president of the University Professional and Continuing Education Association and is the winner of its highest honor, the Julius M. Nolte award. In 2000, she was inducted into the International Adult and Continuing Education Hall of Fame.



Bob Wiltenburg

Dean, University College
Washington University in St. Louis


Bob Wiltenburg is Dean of University College at Washington University in St. Louis. He is also a past president of UPCEA, and is currently editing a volume of essays for the organization's centennial celebration in 2015.
