UPCEA Central Region Awards

The UPCEA Central Region Call for Nominations for the 2014 Celebration of Excellence Program is now open. Nominations must be submitted by June 19, 2014. Late submissions will not be accepted.

The UPCEA Central Region Celebration of Excellence Program is designed to serve three major purposes:

  • to provide recognition to individuals who have originated new and successful programs, or who have made a major contribution to the field of Adult/Continuing Education either through service, research, or publication;

  • to provide recognition to creative and innovative credit and noncredit programs in the field; and

  • to communicate ideas regarding successful programs among the member institutions.

Categories:

  • Innovative Program Award (credit or noncredit)

  • Mature Program Award (credit or noncredit)

  • Excellence in Teaching Award

  • Professional Continuing Educator Award

  • John L. Christopher Outstanding Leadership Award

  • Research and Publication Award

  • Outstanding Continuing Education Student Awards (2 available)

  • Continuing Education Support Specialist Award – Staff in a Support Role

  • Engagement Award

Awards will be presented at the UPCEA Central Region Conference on October 22-24, 2014 in Denver, Colorado.
