Program Innovation Track

Creativity, open mindedness, and willingness to think outside the box—attributes for which professional, continuing, and online education are recognized. Simultaneously, there exists a growing need for entrepreneurial ideas to serve our world’s changing demographies and workforce needs; the link between higher education and the demand for inspiring innovations made clear. The Program Innovation track seeks presentations which reflect the creative thought and practice that have created positive change not just within professional, continuing, and online units, but also within the larger campus and the community writ large.

Sessions should not only share these ideas, but also present them in equally innovative ways.  This track will be considering session formats in addition to session content.  Presentations should be engaging, practical and equip attendees with the ability to look at their current challenges and begin to find new solutions.  Use your imagination!
We invite proposals on new and innovative program planning and approaches.

Presentations involving multiple organizations, as well as content which may be scaled or optimized by attendees from a wide range of institutions are strongly encouraged. In addition, innovative formats such as roundtable, a flipped classroom experience (utilizing prior member/attendee discussion on CORe), or a sessions comprised by a series of short presentations on various aspects of a topic are also sought.

Proposals for this track may include (but are not limited to) the following topics:

  • Program structure and format
  • Program management, administration, and leadership
  • Program pedagogy
  • Program development, from idea to execution
  • Partnerships and collaborations
  • Organizational structure and influence on programmatic design, efficacy
  • Assessment and metrics
